Release notes and download
The 0.3 release is a preview release and shouldn't be used to edit important documents.
It fixes many bugs on the RelaxNG parser and on the validator. There are some improvements on the schema manager, on the "new" dialog and on the XML-schema datatypes supports. It adds also print feature and a style switcher. See changelog file
Update: Sorry, some users and us have discovered some big issues. You can't load some external schema with the windows version; Docbook 4.x schemas can't be loaded (crash) and others. You should use Etna 0.3.1

- Linux i686 (Etna has been tested on Mandrake 10.1)
- Mac OS X 10.2 or next
Installing
- Unzip the downloaded archive in a directory (use zip tool under windows , or tar xvzf etna-0.3.en-US.linux-i686.tar.gz under linux).
- launch Etna by clicking on etna.exe (windows) or etna (linux) in the etna-0.3 directory
- To edit some XML file, you should register a RelaxNG schema or you should install an extension which provides a schema
Known issues
- Sometimes, you should close and then re-open the "new" dialog to see the list of schemas.
- crash when you load a docbook 4.x schema
- unable to register a local schema with the window version
