The types of content published and managed in Connexions
The Connexions architecture currently supports two types of content:
Common Metadata
The following metadata fields are provided by all content types. Each specific type may have additional fields as well.
- title
- The title of the work
- created
- The time and date the content object was first created in the repository
- revised
- The time and date of the most recent revision of the content
- abstract
- An author-provided summary of the content
- keywords
- An optional list of key words or phrases
- license
- The URL of the license terms for this content
- authors
- A list of the people who wrote the content and who are to be credited with authorship
- maintainers
- A list of people responsible for maintaining this content in the Connexions system.
- licensors
- A list of people who hold the copyright for this content
