This document describes the high-level architecture of the Rhaptos system used for Connexions without getting into implementation details. Rhaptos is divided into four components:

Repository
Provides storage, versioning and access to Connexions content

A web portal for the collaborative creation and management of materials
Viewing/Navigation
Tools for viewing and navigating repository content
