Experiences in installing a Rhaptos instance at IUB from scratch.

Rhaptos-IUB installation on my Mac

Version: 0.6
File: Installation summary
Status:
v0.6
First Rhaptos users registered!
Thanks to Kyle, I was able to fix the member_profile page error.
However:
  • Installation of the ConneXions XML bundle still does not work
  • Publishing a module does not work: ReleaseError: Could not release /tmp/tmpuMr2_2: cvs [release aborted]: Failed to restore current directory, `(null)'.: No such file or directory
It seems like there is an error inside the method importObject of CVSTool.py. We (actually Kyle) are currently working on this.
v0.5
First Rhaptos instance up and running!
Thanks to Ross, I was able to fix the postgeSQL error.
However:
  • Installation of the ConneXions XML bundle still does not work
  • Cause my mail server doesn't work on my mac I had to create an initial user manually. Unfortunately this user does not have a member_profile page
  • Publishing a module does not work: ReleaseError: Could not release /tmp/tmpuMr2_2: cvs [release aborted]: Failed to restore current directory, `(null)'.: No such file or directory
v0.4
Error located!
During the installation process of 'RhaptosModuleStorage' the following error emerges:
psycopg.ProgrammingError: ERROR: could not access file "$libdir/tsearch": No such file or directory
v0.3
Installation completed!
All products are installed and Zope is ready to handle requests.
To add a new Rhaptos Site in ZMI failed, however.
