Yesterday, I had an idea concerning images, simply about ways to highlight a part of a picture when you mouse over a word. This idea comes from Facebook; they have a feature that lets you tag people in pictures you upload. I showed this feature to Kathi and Chuck, and they both seemed interested in it. Kathi in particular mentioned that being able to add arrows and other such things would definitely benefit our authors.
However, we have a lot on our plate at the moment, so this particular feature request might have just gotten lost along the way. So Kathi came up with the Connexions Idea Board. We will be putting up a cork board on the wall next to the door to the lab. So if you have any ideas about new features for Connexions, just pin up an image or something related on the Idea Board! For example, I will pin up a screenshot of the Facebook feature.
