Max has made extensive changes to our table rendering code so that it supports much more of the CALS table model. Unfortunately, turning on new features has consequences for some tables in our existing content. I've gone through to see how extensive the damage may be, and how much work we might have to do to bring existing tables "up to code".

Executive Summary
- There are 360 modules total with tables.
- 218 are probably okay.
- 142 may need action:
- 88 CNX Intervention Needed
- 30 Author Contact Needed
- 14 May Be Bugs

The 5 that have no outer borders (under "May Be Bugs") sound like they have frame="0", but no colsep or rowsep attributes declared for the internal cells. Probably case for author contact again.
Can you provide links to some of these modules in the "Author Contact Needed" and "May Be Bugs" sections?
Thanks!
The alignment differences aren't all in headers. It's true that in many cases the author might not mind (or left-alignment might actually look *nicer*), but there are instances where the alignment is significant. I'll provide some examples when we get a test server back up.
