Testing i18n, Yummy

Well, I normally just report status on my testing page, but it's complex enough these days that I think I'll elaborate in a blog post.
I'm in the odd position this morning (Monday 2/5) of not actually
having much to test; i18n is awaiting trunk merge, and I don't (think
I) have all the info to test endorsements. I could hunt around in SVN
to see if there's a Yummy devset and if it has everything I need, but
I'm not sure about its status relative to the visual redesign anyway. As I see it, these are the components of the March 1 rollout. This represents a slight rearrangement of the categories on the release schedule, to reflect testing chunks rather than development chunks.
March 1 rollout components, in rough order of testing difficulty:
Hard-ish
- i18n
- Visual site/content redesign
- Advanced search
- Endorsement machinery
- Express checkout
- Word importer improvements
- Optional roles
- Attribution policy
- Role request prominence
- The hard stuff, I need (want) as much advance notice of as possible so I can plan a testing strategy, and possibly test subcomponents as they roll off the production line.
- The easy stuff, I just want to see done and handed off ASAP so it can get looked at and rolled out. I hope some of it can even be rolled out in advance of March 1, to ease integration with the later stuff that I know will be coming down to the wire.

I just tagged 21 different Products into RCs. I think that can qualify as my "best shot." Enjoy. :)
