Well, I normally just report status on my testing page, but it's complex enough these days that I think I'll elaborate in a blog post.
I'm in the odd position this morning (Monday 2/5) of not actually having much to test; i18n is awaiting trunk merge, and I don't (think I) have all the info to test endorsements. I could hunt around in SVN to see if there's a Yummy devset and if it has everything I need, but I'm not sure about its status relative to the visual redesign anyway.

As I see it, these are the components of the March 1 rollout. This represents a slight rearrangement of the categories on the release schedule, to reflect testing chunks rather than development chunks.

March 1 rollout components, in rough order of testing difficulty:

Hard-ish
  • i18n
  • Visual site/content redesign
    • Advanced search
    • Endorsement machinery
  • Express checkout
  • Word importer improvements
Easy-ish
  • Optional roles
  • Attribution policy
  • Role request prominence
"Testing difficulty" in this case is mostly just "hours needed". It doesn't correlate linearly with priority, but they're interdependent:
  • The hard stuff, I need (want) as much advance notice of as possible so I can plan a testing strategy, and possibly test subcomponents as they roll off the production line.
  • The easy stuff, I just want to see done and handed off ASAP so it can get looked at and rolled out. I hope some of it can even be rolled out in advance of March 1, to ease integration with the later stuff that I know will be coming down to the wire.
So, basically, I'll take anything I can get, as soon as it's ready. C'mon, developers, hit me with yer best shot! (No, I am not channeling Pat Benatar there.) When I have more than one thing in the queue, I'll start prioritizing, by balancing the need to get big things into serious testing against the possibility of getting things done and out of the way.

hehe

I just tagged 21 different Products into RCs. I think that can qualify as my "best shot." Enjoy. :)
