We've removed gentext template calls from content_render.xsl, and we've restructured the l10n apparatus considerably; now, let's make sure we aren't mangling everything.

Collections have types like "Course", "Textbook", and "Manual"; the components of a collection (subcollections and modules) should also have appropriate types, like "Introduction" and "Chapter".

How would it work to enable some kind of re-use of collections as subcollections, and subcollections as collections? Here is my initial analysis.

We are in the process of redesigning our XML structure for representing collections of modules. One requirement is a version number that expresses changes in the content of the collection, as well as changes in the structure of the collection.
